About

I started as a software engineer in Addis Ababa, building ERP and learning-management systems in C# and .NET, then moved into machine learning and data engineering through 10 Academy and two years at Adludio in London (remote), where I built a creative-design platform and LLM pipelines for interactive advertising. In 2024 I joined the Erasmus Mundus Smart Systems Integrated Solutions programme, studying at Aalto University in Finland, the University of South-Eastern Norway, and Budapest University of Technology and Economics. That added a hardware dimension: cleanroom microfabrication, MEMS design and simulation, sensor characterization, and FPGA digital design. My master's thesis at IDEAS (Integrated Detector Electronics AS) in Oslo brought the two sides together: radiometric characterization and shutterless calibration of an uncooled thermal camera, plus the real-time streaming and control platform around it.

    • Developed the Creative Design Manager Studio, a web platform that lets non-technical users build production-ready interactive ad creatives
    • Reduced creative delivery time by roughly 85 percent (from 2 to 3 weeks down to about 3 days) through reusable ad-logic abstractions and a structured JSON template system
    • Managed and optimized LLM pipelines (LangChain) for ad-concept generation; applied computer vision for creative analysis and KPI prediction

  1. M.Sc. Thesis: Thermal Camera Characterization & Calibration Platform

    Jan 2026 – June 2026

    IDEAS (Integrated Detector Electronics AS) · Oslo, Norway

    • Characterized an uncooled LWIR microbolometer camera against a blackbody source and developed shutterless calibration methods
    • Built the real-time acquisition, streaming, and remote-control platform (Python/FastAPI backend, React web client) used for all measurements
    • Part of the experimental characterization was carried out at University of Oslo laboratory facilities
